About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern access to rides.traslatravel.com and reservations for private airport transfers, local transportation and related services offered or coordinated by Trasla Travel & Tour, S.R.L., referred to as “Trasla,” “we,” “us” or “our.”
“Passenger,” “customer,” “you” and “your” refer to the person making the reservation and, where applicable, every traveler included in it. The person completing the reservation is responsible for sharing relevant terms and service information with the other passengers.
These terms apply together with the information displayed during checkout, your written quotation, booking confirmation and any service-specific conditions communicated before acceptance. If a booking-specific written condition differs from a general provision on this page, the booking-specific condition will apply to that reservation to the extent permitted by law.
Acceptance and Eligibility
By submitting or paying for a reservation, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into the agreement, that the information supplied is accurate and that you accept these terms. If you reserve on behalf of another person, company, family or group, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
You must review the route, travel date, pickup time, passenger count, luggage, vehicle category and contact details before confirming payment. Please contact us before booking if any traveler requires accessibility assistance, a child seat, extra luggage capacity or another special arrangement.
Booking and Confirmation
A submitted request is not guaranteed until Trasla issues a booking confirmation, booking reference or other written acceptance. Availability may change before confirmation, particularly for last-minute requests, large groups, special vehicles and services outside our regular coverage areas.
Your confirmation will identify the principal service details. Review it immediately and notify us of any error. A passenger who travels without reporting an incorrect date, route, flight, hotel or contact number may experience delays, incur an adjustment charge or lose the service if the transportation can no longer be performed as originally requested.
Prices, Currency and Payments
The price shown during checkout or in a written quotation is based on the route, selected vehicle or service category, date, passenger and luggage information, and any extras requested at that time. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the quoted price applies to the service as a whole rather than to each passenger.
Additional waiting, unplanned stops, route changes, parking, tolls, airport products, oversized items, extra vehicles or services not included in the confirmed booking may require an additional charge. We will explain material changes and request approval whenever reasonably possible before providing the additional service.
Available payment methods may include online card payment, PayPal or payment on pickup, depending on the booking. Electronic payments may be processed by independent payment providers and remain subject to their security checks, authorization rules and processing times. A payment is not complete if it is declined, reversed, disputed or not received.
Passenger and Travel Information
You are responsible for providing a complete passenger count, working telephone number, email address, pickup and drop-off location, travel date and time. For airport service, provide the correct airline, flight number, arrival or departure airport and scheduled flight time.
Passengers must have valid travel documents and comply with airline, immigration, customs, airport, hotel and governmental requirements. Trasla does not control immigration, baggage claim, customs, security screening or airline operations and is not responsible for a passenger’s failure to satisfy those requirements.
Changes to a flight number, airport, date, accommodation or telephone number must be communicated promptly. Flight monitoring can only be performed using accurate and publicly available flight information.
Airport Pickup, Waiting Time and No-Shows
Pickup instructions and any applicable waiting period will be stated in the booking confirmation or communicated for the specific service. Airport arrival timing may be affected by baggage claim, immigration, customs, terminal access, traffic and operational restrictions.
You must follow the confirmed meeting instructions and remain reachable after landing. If you cannot locate the driver or representative, contact Trasla before leaving the meeting area or arranging alternative transportation. Leaving without contacting us may be treated as a passenger no-show when the driver or representative is present and attempting to make contact.
A no-show may also occur when the passenger does not appear within the applicable waiting period, supplies materially incorrect travel information, arrives on a different service without notifying us, or cannot be contacted using the information provided. Eligibility for a refund or rescheduling will depend on the confirmed booking conditions and the circumstances that can be verified.
Flight Delays and Schedule Changes
When flight information is included in an airport arrival reservation, we may use available airline or airport information to coordinate around reported delays or early arrivals. Monitoring is an assistance feature and does not replace the passenger’s responsibility to notify us of cancellations, rerouting, a new flight number, an airport change or a change of travel date.
We will make reasonable efforts to adjust the pickup when accurate updated information is available. A significant schedule change may require a new vehicle assignment, revised route, additional charge or rescheduling, especially when it falls outside the original service period or confirmed availability.
Changes, Cancellations and Refunds
Requests to modify or cancel a booking must be submitted through an approved contact channel and include the booking reference. A request is effective only after it is received and acknowledged by Trasla.
The cancellation deadline, refund eligibility and any amendment charge are determined by the conditions displayed during booking, included in your confirmation or accepted in a written quotation. Different conditions may apply to last-minute reservations, promotional rates, large vehicles, groups, partner services and specially arranged products.
Approved refunds are returned, whenever practicable, to the original payment method. The time required for funds to appear may depend on the bank, card issuer or payment provider. Processing fees, supplier commitments or non-refundable products may be deducted only when disclosed or otherwise permitted by applicable law.
For a detailed explanation, review our Cancellation Policy.
Vehicles, Capacity and Luggage
Vehicle photographs, model names and examples describe a service category. Unless a specific vehicle is expressly guaranteed in writing, Trasla may provide a comparable or higher-capacity vehicle when operationally necessary.
The customer must disclose all passengers, checked bags, carry-on items, strollers, wheelchairs, golf equipment, surfboards and other oversized or special items before confirmation. Maximum passenger capacity does not guarantee space for the same number of large suitcases.
We may require a different vehicle or additional vehicle when the declared capacity is insufficient or when items cannot be carried safely or lawfully. Undeclared baggage or equipment may be refused if it obstructs exits, compromises passenger safety or exceeds available space.
Review our private transfer options or contact us when you are uncertain which vehicle category is appropriate.
Child Seats, Accessibility and Special Requests
Child or booster seats, accessibility coordination, flowers, refreshments, celebration arrangements, convenience stops, VIP assistance and other extras must be requested in advance. Requests remain subject to availability, suitability, supplier confirmation and any additional charge.
The passenger is responsible for providing accurate age, size, mobility, equipment and assistance information. Drivers may assist with ordinary boarding and luggage when reasonably possible, but specialized medical, lifting or personal-care assistance is not included unless expressly confirmed.
Alcoholic refreshments are available only when lawful and appropriate. Trasla may substitute, modify or decline a requested extra when safety, availability, supplier restrictions or local rules require it.
Passenger Conduct and Safety
Passengers must follow reasonable safety instructions, use seat belts where available, supervise children and treat drivers, representatives, vehicles and other persons respectfully. Smoking, unlawful substances, dangerous items, abusive behavior, deliberate damage and conduct that threatens safety are prohibited.
Trasla or the operating provider may refuse or discontinue service when conduct creates a safety, legal or operational risk. The customer may be responsible for cleaning, repair or other direct costs caused by deliberate or negligent passenger actions, subject to reasonable evidence and applicable law.
Operating Partners and Third-Party Services
Trasla may perform transportation directly or coordinate an appropriately authorized driver, fleet operator or service partner. We remain responsible for our obligations to the extent required by the agreement and applicable law.
Some optional products—such as airport VIP assistance, lounges, fast-track services, attractions or specialized arrangements—may be supplied by independent providers. Their availability, operating rules and additional terms may apply when disclosed as part of the reservation.
Delays, Force Majeure and Liability
We use reasonable care to provide the confirmed service, but pickup and travel times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, public events, airport restrictions, government action, civil disturbance, natural events, system outages or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Where a service is materially affected, we may offer a reasonable alternative, rescheduling or any remedy required by the applicable booking conditions and law. Passengers should allow sufficient time for airport check-in, security and other travel requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trasla is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the booking was confirmed. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, guarantees or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Passengers should keep personal belongings with them and check the vehicle before leaving. Report a lost item promptly; while we will assist with recovery, return cannot be guaranteed and reasonable delivery expenses may apply.
Website, Communications and Personal Information
You agree that booking confirmations, payment notices, pickup instructions and service updates may be delivered electronically using the email address, telephone number or messaging service supplied with the reservation. You are responsible for monitoring those channels and informing us of changes.
Website availability is not guaranteed without interruption. You may not misuse the booking system, attempt unauthorized access, submit fraudulent reservations, interfere with pricing or availability, or copy protected website content without permission.
Personal information is used to administer reservations, payments, passenger communication, operational coordination, legal obligations and customer support. Further details are provided in our Privacy Policy.
Applicable Law and Changes to These Terms
These terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to the customer. The parties should first attempt to resolve a concern directly and in good faith before pursuing other available remedies.
We may update these terms to reflect operational, legal, payment or service changes. The version applicable to a reservation is generally the version in effect when the booking is confirmed, unless a later change is required by law or expressly accepted by the customer.
Contact, Complaints and Booking Assistance
Questions, correction requests or complaints should include the passenger name, booking reference, travel date and a clear description of the matter. Please provide supporting photographs, receipts or messages when relevant so the issue can be reviewed efficiently.
